In order to have a more consistent visual presence online, I designed a logo to communicate my personal brand. Over time, I've recognized the importance of branding, as it helps communicate who you are and reach your target audience.​

I'm a fan of drawing inspiration from the past to create for the present. With this in mind, I wrote my name in Kulitan, a writing system native to the Pampanga region in the Philippines.

To further drive home the idea of bringing the past to the present, I used a bold, rounded style of writing to give off a clean, modern look. I also placed my Latin-spelled name to the right to invoke my "hyphenated" status as an Asian American. While in a sense I live in two worlds, I wanted to communicate that I am fully both and half of neither.
